We reached out to the lucrative gay travel market with NewportOut.com, a website devoted to gay and lesbian travelers interested in Newport. Our research shows that gay and lesbians earn incomes higher than the norm. And dual-income, gay couples enjoy the relative freedom to travel with only 5% of gay households having children. They travel twice as much as their gay counterparts. Before we did any promotion for our beautifully designed site, NewportOut logged thousands of hits.
